The Largest Clean Fleet Event Kicks Off at 2015 Alternative Clean Transportation Expo

Thousands of clean transportation industry leaders are set to take over Dallas, Texas to discuss the alternative fuels and clean vehicle technologies driving the future of transportation.

DALLAS, May 5, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The 2015 Alternative Clean Transportation (ACT) Expo officially kicks off today at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, TX, convening thousands of transportation leaders for North America's largest clean fleet event. More than 3,500 attendees—fleets, technology companies, OEMs, fuel providers, infrastructure developers, and policy makers—will come together May 4-7 to advance the sustainable transportation market. ACT Expo has partnered with multiple leading industry associations to develop the four-day program–including the U.S. Department of Energy's Clean Cities program, the Electric Drive Transportation Association (EDTA), the North American Council for Trucking Efficiency (NACFE), NGV Global, among many others. The Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) and Nissan LEAF are participating as presenting sponsors.

"The clean transportation market is evolving like never before" said Erik Neandross, CEO of Gladstein, Neandross & Associates, the clean transportation and energy consulting firm that produces the conference. "Despite recent plummeting oil prices, the nation's leading fleet operators are continuing to push forward with alternative fuels and efficiency technologies. ACT Expo provides fleet managers with a one-stop shop to learn about the latest clean transportation solutions, as dozens of our 200 plus sponsors and exhibitors are debuting new products right here on the show floor."

ACT Expo's program is tailored to educate fleet managers on the wide range of clean transportation options across all weight classes and alternative fuel types—including electric, hybrid, hydrogen, natural gas, propane autogas, renewable fuels, DME, clean diesel, and efficiency technologies.
