Arizona Lottery Releases FY16 Community Sponsorship RFP

Proposal Submission Deadline June 4, 2015

PHOENIX, AZ--(Marketwired - May 7, 2015) - The Arizona Lottery released its Request for Proposals (RFP) today for fiscal year 2016 (July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2016) community sponsorships.

This RFP process will allow the Lottery to form potential new community partnerships with organizations that apply for funding provided by the Arizona Lottery.

"Since the Arizona Lottery began in 1981, we have given $3.3 billion back to the state," said Tony Bouie, executive director of the Arizona Lottery. "Maximizing Arizona Lottery's net revenue in a responsible manner gives us the opportunity to support many worthy organizations in the Arizona community."

The Arizona Lottery focuses its support for beneficiaries under four main pillars: health and public welfare, economic development, education and environmental issues. The Lottery has set aside $275,000 for FY16 in lottery funding to be divided amongst awarded RFP applicants.

The Arizona Lottery is interested in sponsoring events such as:

  • Community Forums
  • Conferences that are a minimum of two days
  • Year-long program sponsorships which recognize the Lottery for 12 months
  • Breakfast, lunch, or dinners recognizing an organization or person
  • Organizations located in a rural area of Arizona
