NEW YORK, July 07, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Morgan James Publishing’s (www.MorganJamesPublishing.com) entire catalog of books will now be offered through the fast-growing charitable organization, Library For All.
The Morgan James Publishing team is pleased to announce that we will now be partnering with Library For All, a nonprofit organization that provides free access to over 1,700 digital books to the citizens of developing countries.
Library For All is a digital reading platform dedicated to growing knowledge and literacy around the world. Morgan James Publishing will contribute to this effort by providing their entire catalog of published titles to be accessible in the Library For All app.
Through low-cost devices such as tablets, mobile phones, and PCs, Library For All delivers ebooks to some of the 250 million people that struggle to read and write due to their lack of access to books written in their native language. The Library currently reaches individuals in Haiti, Democratic Republic of Congo, and most recently launched in Rwanda, as a combined effort of Imbuto Foundation and Bloomberg Philanthropies. The company also has plans to expand into Cambodia in the near future.
The Library For All app provides access to educational content that is culturally relevant and readily available in local and international languages. Library For All aims to strengthen the educational ecosystem across the developing world, thus improving global literacy and global development initiatives. The platform brings the current library services of developing countries into the digital era, and matches widespread desire to learn with the resources to do so.
As of June 26, 2015, the Library For All app is has made 500 titles available to download for free from the Google Play store in Rwanda. As part of the efforts in Rwanda, the country’s leading telecommunications companies are also supporting the introduction of Library For All by allowing customers to have unlimited access to the application free of data charges.
