GetWellNetwork Skylight Client Conference to Be Held October 12-14 in San Diego

Four Keynote Speakers, More Than 40 Presentations Designed to Help Hospitals and Health Systems Improve Patient Care and Outcomes


BETHESDA, MD--(Marketwired - October 01, 2015) - GetWellNetwork®, Inc., the leader in Interactive Patient Care™ (IPC) solutions, today announced the speakers and agenda for its West Coast Client Conference October 12-14, 2015 at the Hotel del Coronado in San Diego, Calif. Now in its ninth year, the conference was previously announced by Skylight® Healthcare Systems, Inc., which GetWellNetwork acquired on September 1, 2015.

The conference will focus on how hospitals and health systems are improving the care experience and the health of their populations while reducing the overall cost of care. More than 20 clients, including Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, McLane Children's Scott & White Hospital, Keck Medical Center of USC, University of Texas Southwest Medical Center, and St. Vincent Healthcare, will demonstrate how they are using patient engagement to transform care and improve outcomes.

Brooke Billingsley, chief executive officer of Perception Strategies, and Karen Drenkard, Ph.D., RN, NEA-BC, FAAN, SVP, chief clinical and nursing officer of GetWellNetwork will also address the conference.

General session topics include "IPC Moving Forward: Solutions, Integration and More," "IPC Technology Crosswalk Along the Care Continuum" and "Advances in Population Health: Reducing Readmissions by Identifying At-risk Patients." Breakout sessions will target professional development and best practices for hospital and health system clinicians, IT personnel and executive leadership.
