Sunil Vaswani Honoured at Asian Business Leadership Forum


DUBAI, UAE, Dec. 16, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Sunil Vaswani, Chairman of the Dubai headquartered Stallion Group was honoured with the Rising Star Award at the prestigious ABLF Series event held at the Armani Hotel in Dubai on the November 29th.

He was conferred the recognition by Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development and Royal Patron of ABLF.

Sunil Vaswani was recognised by the ABLF Series as an inspirational leader, who takes on business challenges that would otherwise prove daunting to an ordinary individual, and consistently delivers on his/her projects and commitments. Furthermore, that his success has catapulted him to the pinnacle of the global business-scape.

The ABLF Series is a pre-eminent event held annually to bring together renowned business leaders from the GCC, Africa and Asia fostering productive collaboration amongst its participants.  The sixth 2015 edition was rolled out under the theme of 'Technology and Disruptive Innovation in 21st Century Asia' in addition to emphasizing on Women's Empowerment.

Participating in the ensuing high power panel at the event, Sunil Vaswani said “Africa is the most exciting market for Asian companies in the coming decades”. He drew this conclusion from “certain compelling factors that include abundant natural resources, growing population with disposable income, enhanced democracies and others.” He also underlined the need for Africa to learn from Asia experience in several sectors.

In his keynote address, Shaikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan UAE Minister of Culture Youth and Community Development emphasised the importance of Asia's leaders to come together to ensure sustainable leadership to express humility and the need for intra-Asia relationships and partnerships.

Other speakers at the event, that included leaders and achievers from the Asian business community, highlighted the importance of strong intra-Asia relationships and partnerships to deal with the testing times.
