CardConnect Introduces 30-Day Payments Implementation for Oracle E-Business Suite

Integration includes payment gateway, tokenization, interchange optimization and automated reconciliation

KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa., Sept. 19, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- CardConnect® (NASDAQ:CCN) today introduced an implementation program for its popular CardSecure® integration for Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) that can be deployed within 30 days or less.

CardSecure is an enterprise-level payment gateway that provides tokenization to protect against data breaches and removes Oracle EBS from the compliance scope of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). The solution also reduces credit card transaction costs with interchange optimization and features automated reconciliation to improve accounting processes.

The 30-day implementation is applicable to a variety of card-not-present sales channels that span several Oracle EBS modules:

  • Call centers and customer service agents using Order Management and/or Service Contracts
  • Collections and accounts receivable (AR) teams using Receivables and/or Advance Collections
  • Online portals and applications using iReceivables and iStore
  • External eCommerce websites using Web Services and APIs

CardSecure’s seamless and accelerated implementation cycle is supported by reducing manual intervention through the use of scripting and automation, and also by the provisioning of source code and self-help tools. Additionally, CardSecure maintains Oracle’s coveted “out-of-box” status by using personalizations and standard Oracle functionality – rather than customizations – within Oracle EBS to ensure Oracle support is not disrupted.

“We set out to challenge the perception that Oracle integrations take months, possibly even a year, to fully implement,” said Abe Marciano, Chief Information Officer at CardConnect. “This notion has been a huge barrier and point of friction for many organizations when it comes to optimizing their payments architecture, causing critical delays in upgrading outdated security practices and forfeiting profits on unnecessarily high transaction costs.”

“Chiseling down our implementation timeframe to 30 days is made possible with our experienced ERP team, agile approach and modularized technology stack,” said Megan Kelly, Senior Director of Enterprise Integrations at CardConnect. “Each step of our implementation processes has been optimized, making each Oracle integration as predictable and streamlined as possible.”

CardConnect has been a leader in enterprise payments since its acquisition of Princeton Payment Solutions in 2013, which developed the first payment gateway for SAP in 1997 and became the first Oracle Validated Integration for payment acceptance in 2012.
