Rubicon Global and Wharton IGEL to Host Conference Next Week in San Francisco

Theme is “Exploring the Value of Sustainable Infrastructure,” Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed among speakers


ATLANTA, Oct. 12, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Global and the Wharton Initiative for Global Environmental Leadership (IGEL) will host a conference at Wharton San Francisco on Tuesday, Oct. 18. The conference theme is “Exploring the Value of Sustainable Infrastructure.” Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed is among the speakers scheduled to participate.

The conference will investigate macro- and microeconomic solutions to sustainable business and highlight trailblazing municipalities. Disruptive business leaders, entrepreneurs and government officials will gather to discuss market-based solutions to some of the world’s most pressing social and environmental challenges. Key themes will include: resiliency of smart cities, supply chain innovation through technology and the future of the circular economy.
