A Little Warmth in the Windy City with Chicago Marketing

Chicago, Jan. 31, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Through this past holiday season, the Chicago Marketing Team has taken the opportunity to help the less fortunate and collect items for Public Action Delivery Service, or P.A.D.S. The mission from P.A.D.S is to put an end to homelessness, by providing housing, necessary living items, support services, and even opportunities for employment in the Dupage area. President/CEO Jacob Cline was asked about the effort put forth from the staff, he wanted to give recognition to all of our departments and branches within the Chicagoland area for helping orchestrate and make the event a success.

The team members from all 7 branches including administration, sales, corporate trainers, and marketing director’s rally jumped at the chance to help others and make a difference in the community. Together we really wanted to impact our local areas and help the less fortunate during these bitter cold and winter months.

We got together with some of the representatives of P.A.D.S and our company to come up with a list of items we considered a necessity during these harsh months and difficult times for some of these individual’s. V.P. Mark Krupa along with Assistant Human Resource Manager Jorie Dieter took control to organize the event and get the message out to all branches to make the biggest impact possible. Through the last few weeks, donations came pouring in from each location. As a group we were able to collect anything from toiletries, clothes, food, bedding, to even pet food for those who have furry friends.

Chicago Marketing Inc. has encouraged everyone to go through their closets and look for gently used clothing, food in pantries, and even outgrown baby items to simply pack up and donate to P.A.D.S shelter. All donations from our office were dropped off to our local PADS location in Wheaton. P.A.D.S has been open nearly 3 decades and since opening their doors have been able to help tens of thousands of people put an end to homelessness. They make it easy to accept donations by providing after hour’s drop off area for all donations.

Lucky for you the opportunity to lend a helping hand to your local community does not end in our office until the 31st of this month. So start your spring cleaning early, and drop off your donations in order to help those in need.
