TARRYTOWN, N.Y., June 06, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Westcon International, a multi-national value-added distributor of security, unified communications, network infrastructure and data center solutions, announced today that Patty Gray, vice president of global vendor management, was named to the 2018 Power 100 list, CRN’s recognition of the channel’s most exceptional female executives. CRN, a brand of The Channel Company, also named Gray to its 2018 Women of the Channel list.
Gray is responsible for managing Westcon’s top global vendor partnerships and was recognized by CRN for her outstanding leadership, vision and unique role in driving channel growth and innovation. With three decades of channel expertise and forward-looking vision, Gray served as the lead on Westcon’s global vendor management initiative to create a single go-to market strategy in support of the company’s global vendor partnerships. She also established Westcon’s Vendor Executive Advisory Council, the first of its kind for the distributor. The council drives better alignment for growth opportunities and collaboration around key channel topics, leading to the delivery of innovative go-to-market programs that help vendors and solution providers be more successful.
The Power 100 list is comprised of an exceptional group of 100 executives chosen by the CRN editorial staff. They are culled from CRN’s Women of the Channel list, which honors more than 600 women for their channel expertise. Vendors, distributors, solution providers and other organizations are all represented.
