KEMP, Texas, June 11, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Larson Electronics, a Texas-based industrial lighting company and manufacturer of power distribution systems, released a two-stage, hydraulic telescoping light tower for outdoor use. The light mast can be used to mount lamps, cameras, antennas and other types of equipment for elevated placement and setups.
The LM-HA-12-7-2S-FM can be raised to 12 feet for maximum elevation and retracted to seven feet for compact storage or ease of transportation. A rotating boom, fully capable of turning 360 degrees, allows operators to position mounted equipment accurately during use. The two-stage light mast weighs approximately 600 lbs and features a base stage of 4” x 4” x 1/8” of square steel tubing, which measures 6.52 feet in length. The second stage of 3” x 3” x 1/8” square steel tubing measures 6.77 feet in length. Manual deployment of the tower is not required, as the mast can be elevated using hydraulics, while both stages (the base and second stage) are deployed using a hydraulic ram system.
At the top of the telescoping light mast, operators are provided access to a platform for mounting equipment. The maximum capacity of the LM-HA-12-7-2S-FM is 800 lbs. Permanent mounting of the mast is required and facilitated by a sturdy bracket with six bolt holes. The light tower is constructed of steel with a powder coated finish for durability in rugged, outdoor environments. As a stable light tower, the unit offers up to 125 mph of wind resistance at a height of seven feet.
