Phoenix Announces First Promotion of 2019


Dunwoody GA, March 25, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Phoenix Brand Management Group of Dunwoody, Georgia unveiled its upcoming expansion plans in the early months of 2019. The announcement furthers the company’s already expansive national reach, proving they are the company to beat in the Atlanta region.

Director of Operations, CJ Young spent the last several months planning, training and evaluating candidates within his office, knowing the company’s latest expansion was on the horizon.

We have been looking for the right person for our latest expansion, and I couldn’t be more excited to see how it unfolds with Chris.”

Chris Mitchem, an 11 month associate of Phoenix Brand Management Group, was called on stage at the company’s regional meeting in Atlanta in late January and was promoted to Assistant Director. The promotion took place in front of hundreds of Chris’s peers. He was given the opportunity to speak at the meeting, thanking both CJ and his teammates in an emotional and motivational speech.

“It was clear we chose the perfect person for the job,” said CJ.

Chris is a teaching and learning Doctoral candidate at Liberty University. He received both a Bachelor’s degree in business information systems and a Master’s degree in business education from the University of West Georgia and earned his Specialist degree in Administration and leadership at Lincoln Memorial College.

When asked about his impressive and ongoing educational achievements, Chris responded with a quote that has stuck with him through the years, “An investment in knowledge pays the best interest.”

As a lifelong student, Chris took quickly to Phoenix Brand Management Group’s philosophy of having a strong ‘student mentality’. Within months of working in the thriving office, Chris acquired trainees, whom he was responsible for on a daily and weekly basis.

“It took no time at all for Chris and his team to be the most productive in the office,” said CJ. “He took to the leadership role we handed him with ease and far surpassed all of the expectations that I had for him, though I did set the bar high.”

Associates of Chris describe him as a hard worker, consistent and someone that is constantly challenging himself and those around him to strive to be the best, professionally and personally both inside and outside of the office.

The promotion to Assistant Director implies the company’s further investment into Chris as they prepare him for an upcoming Director of Operations promotion. As a Director, he will have the privilege of furthering their clients’ vast footprint across the southern Georgia region.
