E-mail Tracking

Using GlobeNewswire's newest service offering, we provide you with detailed reports on which journalists, editors, and analysts have actually opened your news release.Whenever you issue a news release using GlobeNewswire's wire service, we can also track the status of every e-mail message sent to your media list.

We call this our E-mail Tracking Service, and it allows you to closely monitor exactly who opened your release.

How does it work?

The E-mail Tracking Service turns a regular broadcast e-mail message into "tracking" email by including a special tag in each message. This tag allows GlobeNewswire to monitor and track the status of every e-mail message in a particular broadcast email job.

Can you track individuals?

Each e-mail message is individually addressed and uniquely tagged for each recipient. This technology allows us to not only determine how many of your messages were delivered, but we identify each individual that actually read the message.

Does this work for any e-mail message?

The E-mail Tracking Service is available on both of GlobeNewswire's enhanced e-mail services: HTML Letterhead and Custom Interactive E-mail. Since the service relies on newer technologies, it is not available on plain-text (sometimes called ASCII) e-mail messages. The fee for this service is $0.50 per e-mail message, plus a one-time setup fee for either HTML Letterhead ($50) or Custom Interactive E-mail ($150).
