360training Obtains OSHA Accreditation for Online 10-Hour Outreach Training Certification Programs

Company to Improve Access to Job-Critical Safety Knowledge for General Industry and Construction Sector

AUSTIN, Texas, Jan. 17, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- 360training, a global provider of technical skills and safety e-Learning solutions, today announced its highly anticipated approval by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration to offer 10-hour Outreach Training Certification courses online. The courses will provide 24x7 web-based access to certification and testing content to help organizations comply with OSHA's 10-hour health and safety certification requirements in general industry and construction sectors.

"The course curricula was subjected to a rigorous review and approval process by OSHA which will ensure the content provides comprehensive and accurate information of job-critical knowledge to enhance the safety of our nation's workforce. 360training has placed great emphasis in our ability to produce e-Learning courseware that is held to the highest accreditation standards in the compliance arena," said Ed Sattar, President and CEO of 360training.

The 10-hour online general safety certification course is targeted to supervisors with safety and health responsibilities, and for employee safety and health awareness. Students will be introduced to OSHA policies, procedures and standards as well as general industry safety and health principles covered in OSHA Act Part 1910. Special emphasis will be placed on areas most hazardous using OSHA standards as a guide.

The 10-hour online construction certification course is targeted to construction workers, foremen, job supervisors, and anyone involved in the construction industry. OSHA recommends Outreach Training Program courses as an orientation to occupational safety and health for workers covered by OSHA 29 CFR 1926. Workers must receive additional training, when required by OSHA standards, on the specific hazards of the job. All students who successfully complete the course will receive an OSHA 10-hour course completion card for the respective industry from the Department of Labor.

360training will make the 10-hour certification courses available through its premiere retail training portal for safety, OSHACampus.com (www.oshacampus.com) and through its exclusive network of educational distributors.
