SAN FRANCISCO, CA and WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwire - May 28, 2010) -  The June 1, 2010 deadline is fast approaching for entrepreneurs to apply to present their technologies to an elite audience of buyers, researchers, and funders at the Security Innovation Network Showcase 2010. Produced by the Security Innovation Network, the Showcase 2010 at the National Press Club in Washington DC is accelerating the search for the most promising cyber solutions from across the U.S., as it seeks to identify and match breakthrough technologies to the most urgent needs faced by Federal agencies and industry. To apply before the deadline, visit www.security-innovation.org/showcase.htm.

At a time when adversaries are evolving new threats to exploit networks at an unrelenting pace, the Showcase advances public-private sector collaboration by giving companies with products of the highest merit the opportunity to be evaluated and noticed by representatives from private industry, NSA, DoD, DHS, Federal Government, system integration, research, investment banking, and venture capital.

How it works:  Approximately 20 early stage, emerging companies will be selected by the Security Innovation Network Technical Vetting Committee to present their technologies at the National Press Club on October 27th, 2010. Open to all offensive and defensive cyber product categories, company applications will be reviewed and screened by the following panel of distinguished security experts and former high-ranking Federal officials:
