The Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS) and My InnerView by National Research Corporation form partnership to launch skilled nursing satisfaction survey initiative

LINCOLN, Neb., Oct. 2, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- National Research Corporation is excited to announce a partnership with the Kansas Department of Aging and Disability Services (KDADS) to implement its statewide survey of nursing home resident satisfaction using My InnerView products. The program, beginning in October, will collect survey information to be included in an online Nursing Home Report Card that will assist customers in identifying and selecting a nursing home.

The survey initiative is in response to a growing trend to help Americans find reliable, supportive, and affordable healthcare in nursing homes. All Kansas Medicaid certified nursing homes and long term care organizations are eligible to participate in the program. The My InnerView surveys will be conducted onsite by National Research, and the Report Card information will be available to the public on the KDADS public website in the spring of 2014.

"We are thrilled to partner with KDADS to help them promote quality healthcare in their nursing homes," said Mary Oakes, Senior Vice President of Post-Acute at National Research. "Choosing a proper nursing home or long term care organization is not only a personal decision, but one that requires important education and knowledge for residents and their family members. We hope the survey information can provide more insight and help everyone make more informed decisions."
