Texas Equity Crowdfunding Presentations
"Texas represents the largest legal equity crowdfunding market in the United States, which provides startups with an opportunity to raise investment capital from more than more than 20 million Texans that can now invest up to $5,000 per year in as many companies as they want," said Robert Hoskins, TCN's Executive Director. "Adding this new crowdfunding finance tool to the state's highly trained workforce, an affordable housing market, no state income tax and a very relaxed business regulatory environment makes Texas one of best places in the world to open up a new business."

TexasCrowdfunding.com, TexasEquityShares.com and Texas.TruCrowd.com will be giving short presentations on their new crowdfunding sites, which are all still waiting their final approvals from Texas State Securities Board (TSSB). The presentations will cover the Texas Equity Crowdfunding Issuer Rules and Texas Equity Crowdfunding Disclosure Requirements.

Next, GoldStar Trust will make a quick presentation on their new CrowdPay Crowdfunding Escrow/Payment API service for online fundraising platforms. In addition, GoldStar will explain how Texans can use their self-directed IRAs to begin investing in promising Texas startups and businesses.

All presentations will be followed by a quick 45-minute Q&A session.

Capital Factory Entrepreneur Center
Located in the middle of Austin's rapidly growing Innovation Zone, the Capital Factory is a 50,000 sq. ft. co-working facility that houses more than 600 entrepreneurs, startups, application developers, mobile app service providers, marketing & PR companies, social media management agencies, angel investors and venture capitalists. Located blocks away from the State Capital and the University of Texas, the organization provides a wealth of learning resources, seminars, tutorials, networking events and parties.

The institution allows up and coming entrepreneurs with bright ideas to rent a co-working space, hire talented workers and discover like-minded co-founders that want to work together to start new companies. Once a new company has been formed, the startup can then apply to the Capital Factory's accelerator/incubator program, which gives them access to seasoned mentors and allows them to pitch their business plans to angel investors, venture capitalists and leading investment syndicates.

Crowdfunding Service Providers
"The TCN organization can help provide Texas startups with a wide variety of crowdfunding services such as helping issuers/campaign managers select the best Texas crowdfunding site for their company's private placement memorandums (PPMs)," Hoskins stated. "In addition, we offer leading crowdfunding training webinars; assist with financial documentation preparation; help develop crowdfunding profiles and campaigns; as well as help plan cost-effective advertising, PR and social media marketing campaigns to promote the client's fundraising drives to large groups of targeted accredited and non-accredited investors living in Texas."
