RedBrick Health adds Kim Stephan, General Counsel, and Tony Fisher, Senior Vice President, Consumer Solutions, to Leadership Team

MINNEAPOLIS, June 9, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- RedBrick Health, a leading provider of consumer health engagement and behavior change solutions, announced today it has added two new members to its senior leadership team. Kim Stephan joins RedBrick as general counsel, and Tony Fisher steps into the newly created position of senior vice president, consumer solutions.

Stephan will oversee all legal matters including corporate, contract and intellectual property law. She will also advise the leadership team and board of directors in the areas of compliance, governance and risk management.

"Kim's extensive legal experience and her ability to advise on strategic business matters will be vital to us as we continue our expansion," said Dan Ryan, chief executive officer of RedBrick Health.

Before joining RedBrick, Stephan served as assistant general counsel and senior director of regulatory affairs at Capella Education Company. She also led the state regulatory function at Capella and managed the company's compliance and advocacy efforts. Prior to Capella, she was a partner with the law firm of Graham & Dunn in Seattle, where her practice included corporate securities and governance matters, regulatory affairs, and mergers and acquisitions. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance with an Accounting emphasis from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Wisconsin Law School.

Tony Fisher joins RedBrick as senior vice president, consumer solutions. In this role, Fisher will address evolving consumer market opportunities outside of RedBrick's traditional employer, health plan, and healthcare provider markets using the RedBrick Health Engagement Platform and the company's award-winning applications.

Fisher spent over 15 years at Target Corporation in various roles, all focused on driving profitable sales through consumer and data-driven strategies. He also led the Merchandise Operations group, and, most recently, oversaw Target's first-ever international expansion, with 124 store openings in the first year. Fisher graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a degree in Marketing Management.

"The consumer has always been at the center of our purpose to help people be healthy. There is a substantial opportunity to engage a broader population, both directly and in partnership with leading consumer organizations. Tony's expertise in leveraging consumer insights and data analytics to effectively address existing and emerging markets will help us connect to individuals in new ways," said Ryan.

Ryan added, "We're extremely pleased to welcome these two outstanding executives to the RedBrick family. It's an exciting time for us as we scale the business and expand the application and reach of our health engagement platform."
