A Smokin' New Seasonal Brew From Waterloo Brewing Co.

KITCHENER, ON--(Marketwired - September 17, 2015) - Waterloo Brewing Co., the craft brewing division of Brick Brewing Co. Limited ("Brick" or the "Company") (TSX: BRB), Ontario's largest Canadian-owned brewery, today announced the arrival of their NEW Waterloo Smoked Applewood Roggenbier to shelves of the LCBO and The Beer Store.

In keeping within the tradition of this medieval German beer style, this Roggenbier is mildly hopped and begins with an intense smoked malt flavour, spicy earthiness, and floral nose, rounding out with a smooth dry finish. It really is a perfect pint for those cooler autumn nights.

"It's our job to pique the interest and taste buds of beer drinkers in Ontario," said Sean Dennis, Director of Marketing, Waterloo Brewing Co. "From our Vanilla Porters to our Grapefruit Radlers, our brewery is gaining a reputation for pushing the flavour envelope. This Smoked Applewood Roggenbier is going to astonish and amaze palates all over the province. There's nothing middle of the road about it."

"We are very excited about the evolution of our seasonal beers," offered Russell Tabata, Chief Operating Officer. "We start with a traditional German beer style to honour the heritage of our hometown Kitchener-Waterloo; then we add our own local, creative flair which makes for very distinctive, very enjoyable, very crafted beers."

Waterloo Smoked Applewood Roggenbier is available only at the LCBO and The Beer Store in 473ml cans for only $2.75 including deposit.
