Launched in 2003, the Top 100 Awards celebrate the incredible accomplishments of Canada's top female executive talent, their organizations and their networks. Sue Abu-Hakima will receive the Sun Life Trailblazers and Trendsetters award for being an innovator and one of the rare women in technology who is both a Founder and CEO, and who has exited one start-up and is working on her second. As a proud supporter of women in leadership and technology, Amika Mobile works to create the necessary conditions and opportunities for women to help them thrive and succeed within high tech by setting a strong example for women in business.

"Receiving the Top 100 Trailblazer and Trendsetters award from the WXN is a great honor for me and I am hoping to continue to set a strong example for young women who have so many more opportunities to thrive in today's rapidly changing technology world on the web, in social media, in security or with mobile apps. It is far easier to get something going today than it was 16 years ago and I am hoping to continue to help inspire and mentor young people starting up." said Sue Abu-Hakima, CEO Amika Mobile.

The Top 100 Awards serve to recognize talented leaders in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors and to inspire the current and next generation to push the boundaries of what's possible.

"For these highly accomplished women, receiving a Top 100 Award means much more than recognition or a chance to share the spotlight with other remarkable Winners, it's an opportunity to pay it forward," says WXN founder, Pamela Jeffery. "WXN Top 100 Award Winners are powerful women both in their careers and their potential to transcend boundaries to have a greater impact on the communities around them."
