Christine M. Klein Joins NDIA as Vice President of Meetings and Events


ARLINGTON, Va., Sept. 6, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) today announced the appointment of Christine M. Klein to serve as Vice President of Meetings and Events.

In this position, Ms. Klein will lead NDIA's best-in-class meetings and events department that brings together industry stakeholders, academia and government officials to encourage ongoing collaboration that provides forward-thinking solutions to address current and future challenges in defense and national security.

"Christine is a seasoned leader who brings a tremendous amount of event management experience and a proven record of serving the needs of target audiences," said President and CEO Gen. Craig McKinley, USAF (Ret.). "Under Christine's leadership, NDIA's events will continue to serve as trusted venues of information and collaboration."

Ms. Klein joins with more than 20 years experience in planning meetings, events, and conferences as well as exhibits and sponsorships. She has run her own event management business and previously served as the Managing Director of Meetings for the American Institute of Architects and Vice President of Meetings and Business Partnerships at the Institute of Food Technologists.
