Nectar Advanced Assessment Program Gains Momentum

Three new partners complete certification to better enable successful UC deployments in multi-vendor enterprise environments

JERICHO, N.Y., April 05, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Nectar Services Corp., the leader in the development and deployment of proactive network monitoring and management software for the Unified Communications (UC) industry, announced today that three new partners have joined the company’s growing certified partner list under the Advanced Assessment Partner Program. The program’s goals are to assist enterprise customers identify partners that are certified to leverage Nectar’s Perspective solution to design, deploy and report the results of network assessments for both cloud and on premise UC deployments, including Microsoft Skype for Business Online.

All Nectar-certified advanced assessment partners are required to demonstrate strong functional knowledge of voice, UC, data networking and the impact of UC traffic on a data network. These partners must also go through comprehensive training on the Perspective product and how to design, deploy, and use it for a Microsoft Skype Operations Framework (SOF)-aligned network assessment. To date, our partners have invested nearly 200 hours to the Advanced Network Assessment Program certification process to support their enterprise customers. The three newest partners to become certified under the Advanced Assessment Partner Program include:

Planning and managing a multi-vendor UC environment can become a tedious operation, and without proper pre-assessment of the network, the environment itself can quickly grind to a halt. Enterprises rollouts of new UC deployments without a pre-assessment can be easily abandoned once issues are experienced early in the adoption phase. The primary goal of Nectar’s Advanced Network Assessment Program is to educate its partners on the vital role pre-assessment plays when it comes to full adoption of a UC deployment. By becoming Nectar certified, partners can quell their customers concerns by fully understanding the complex environments UC deployments are featured in and have the tools and knowledge needed to support their customers’ needs for both today and tomorrow.

“Ensuring the full-scale adoption of UC deployments for our enterprise customers is the end goal. That cannot be achieved if a customer encounters problems such as jitter and poor quality of service (QoS) early on in the UC environment and abandons the deployment,” said Luke Kannel, Microsoft practice lead for ConvergeOne. “By becoming Nectar certified through its Advanced Assessment Program, we can ensure that any enterprise deployment we do is ready for use on Day 1. Nectar is helping us be more successful by guaranteeing from the start that a successful UC deployment is possible. We provide our customers with the peace-of-mind they need in order to fully adopt their UC deployment while leveraging us as support when needed.”

“Nectar is pleased to announce these three new certified partners under our Advanced Assessment Partner Program. We strive to give our partners every tool and advantage they need to ensure their customers have a worry and hassle free UC deployment,” said Tom Tuttle, senior vice president of global UC strategy and alliances at Nectar. “Being Nectar certified means that ConvergeOne, DIGITALNETBR and SmartQube can identify any issues that may arise before the crucial initial stages of deployment occur, which significantly increases the chance of full UC adoption.
