New Orleans, LA, Feb. 23, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) --  Every year, Martin Lawrence Galleries (MLG), the nation’s preeminent network of fine art galleries specializing in unique paintings, drawings, sculpture and limited-edition graphics, celebrates Spring with the release of works by 40 of the world’s finest 20th and 21st century artists. The live auctions will be held at the Hyatt Regency Schaumburg Chicago on Friday, March 16th, 2018 and at the Westin New Orleans Canal Place on Sunday, March 25th, 2018

Over the years, MLG has continued to evolve, offering its collectors an opportunity to add an eclectic blend of Impressionist, Modern, Post-War and Contemporary art to their collection’s. We encourage our collectors to embrace the cross-category collecting approach and the lots this year have been curated with this evolving trend in mind.

MLG has published fine art by Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, Erté, Kondakova, Bertho, Hallam and more as well as worked directly with the Chagall and Frances estates to acquire major collections of original and unique works and present them to seasoned collectors and first-time buyers alike.

MLG prides itself on the pristine condition of each work of art it offers and guarantees the authenticity of every piece.

In addition, MLG has loaned many masterpieces to museums and public institutions. Our most recent loans include two Kour Pour paintings to the Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum’s Decoration never dies anyway, David Hockney’s Outpost Drive to the acclaimed retrospective of Hockney’s work at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Magritte’s La decouverte de feu to Musée Magritte’s Magritte-Broodthaers & Contemporary Art.

Martin Lawrence Galleries Spring Auction is a truly amazing opportunity to acquire from an unprecedented collection of fine art. Iconic Haring, signature Warhol, sensual Picasso, romantic Chagall and bronze sculptures by the elegant and legendary Erté; otherworldly landscapes from Kerry Hallam, contemporary works by the visual raconteur Robert Deyber, complex Takashi Murakami and the articulate aesthetic sense of Mark Kostabi and so much more. A rare and exciting look at the evocative range of works by these masters is only a glimpse into their aesthetic.
