A Seniors' Residence is not what you expect. Come see for yourself.

MONTRÉAL, April 26, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- On Sunday April 29th, close to 400 members of le Regroupement québécois des résidences pour aînés (RQRA), also known as the Québec Seniors' Housing Group (QSHG), are once again holding a public awareness Open House, from 1pm to 4pm. This is the 7th such edition of the Open House event, a special day that attracts thousands of visitors to the residences of our participating members all across Québec.

The objective of this province-wide information initiative is to dispel the myth about life in residences for seniors. "You often still hear people claiming that the food there is not up to par, that these places are boring, with no social life, no adequate services. On the contrary, the Open House day is the ideal opportunity to come learn and discover that these residences offer a remarkable environment for retirees, a place where they can settle in, in total comfort and safety" says Mr. Yves Desjardins, President and CEO of the RQRA/QSHG

Therefore, the owners, managers and staff members of the participating residences of the RQRA/QSHG will be on hand to meet and greet visitors at large on Sunday April 29th, in order to showcase the residences' common areas, their dining rooms and activity premises along with their living quarters (studios and apartments). it will be a chance for all to discover and witness the warm ambiance and unrivaled quality of life offered to retirees and seniors on the spot.

Note that many of the participating residences are organizing thematic activities on-site for the occasion of the Open House. Efforts will include concerts, tastings, art displays by the residents themselves and many more discoveries.

You may access the list of seniors' residences participating in the RQRA/QSHG Open House event, online at jeunes-aines.com/open-house.
