Boston, June 19, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- 55ip, an investment strategy engine that enables advisors to design intelligent, custom, and automated investment strategies, continues to attract top talent to its executive and management teams with the appointment of Swati Bairathi, Chief Product Officer (CPO) and Jennifer Root, Director of Marketing.
As CPO, Bairathi will be responsible for leading 55ip’s product strategy process and roadmap overseeing the development and management for the 55ip platform. As Director of Marketing, Root will lead the firm’s marketing efforts across all channels. Both Bairathi and Root will operate out of the firm’s Boston headquarters.

Bairathi brings over 15 years of product management and consulting experience in several fintech verticals, including investment management, wealth management, and registered investment advisor (RIA) platforms. She was responsible for the development of Charles River Development’s wealth management platform, wherein she built and launched managed accounts solutions used by some of the world’s largest wealth managers. Prior, Bairathi worked with Fidelity Investments to create a best-of-breed technology platform for its private wealth management business. She holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT), Jaipur and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Delhi.
Root joins the 55ip team with more than 20 years of experience developing and executing brand strategies for B2B and B2C marketing programs. Most recently, she led marketing strategy and execution for DST Systems’ Retirement Solutions business, raising awareness of the firm’s various product lines including Advisor Practice Management and Rollover and Income Portability. Prior, she served as Marketing Director at Pinnacle Financial Group. Root holds a Bachelor of Science in Broadcasting and Film from Boston University’s College of Communication.
In addition to expanding its executive and management team, 55ip has also hired Richard McQueary and Shu Wang to its industry-leading investment research team led by Dr. Leonid Kogan, Chief Investment Scientist at 55ip. McQueary joins 55ip with extensive portfolio optimization and global risk analytics experience, in addition to first-hand financial advisor experience. Wang is a financial mathematician with advanced expertise in research and modeling for portfolio analysis, trading, and risk management.
In addition to these significant appointments, 55ip is growing strategic partnerships.
