Good Gaming, Inc. Issues August Update and Signs Operating Agreement With Viaone Gaming to Become Its Operating Partner in Their Collaboration With Esports Koralis Entertainment Inc.

KENNETT SQUARE, PA, Sept. 25, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via NEWMEDIAWIRE – Good Gaming, Inc. (OTCQB: GMER) (the “Company”), CEO David B. Dorwart is pleased to provide his latest monthly corporate update for the month of August 2018 and the announcement of its Operating Agreement with ViaOne Gaming to act as an operating partner for their collaboration with Koralis Entertainment Inc. to initiate regional esports tournaments and livestream tournament play.

First, a brief explanation for the absence of press releases over the last couple of months. Rest assured, the Company has been working diligently to provide shareholders with the results they expect to see with our current operations, which are now starting to finally pay dividends. However, over the last two months, the Company has been negotiating certain corporate debts and believed it was in the Company’s best interest to voluntarily go into a quiet period, in order to negotiate the very best results. We are very happy to report that our efforts were indeed successful. Going forward, we expect to keep our shareholders abreast of all newsworthy events and shareholders should start to see a consistent stream of news and updates.

As announced, ViaOne Gaming and Koralis Entertainment Inc. have collaborated for a series of regional esport tournaments through large venues and weekly livestream tournament play. Our recently signed Operating Agreement with ViaOne Gaming allows Good Gaming Inc. to act on behalf of ViaOne Gaming’s operation for oversight in regional tournaments, which will initially be held at the world-famous Daytona International Speedway, and on weekly livestream tournament play. ViaOne Gaming chose Good Gaming Inc. because of their extensive moderator tournament gaming experience, their proprietary mods in Minecraft, and knowledge in Fortnite. Combined, these abilities offer several benefits to the overall strategy and development of their regional esports play into large successful international events. The Operating Agreement between ViaOne Gaming and Good Gaming Inc. will also allow for revenue sharing on an ongoing basis.

Founded in 2013, Koralis Entertainment Inc. is a full-service entertainment company that creates original content across multiple platforms including esports, movies, music production, apparel, merchandise, transmedia, and intellectual property.

Koralis Entertainment Inc., through its ‘2050esports’ brand, has succeeded in producing multiple live events and regular online esports tournaments (with accompanying broadcasts).

Koralis Entertainment Inc. recently signed a licensing agreement with Daytona International Speedway to produce co-branded, esports-related content following a successful event at the venue in November 2017.

A recent World Economic Forum article, “The Explosive Growth Of Esports,” forecasts 38% year-over-year growth in revenues of $905 million in 2018 with a global audience of over 300 million fans. This explosive growth bodes well for ViaOne Gaming, Good Gaming Inc. and Koralis Entertainment Inc. as they position themselves to take advantage of the robust growth in this lucrative industry.

A recent Brobible.com article featured a Ryerson University study that concluded esports stars will soon earn more than professional athletes. The article also quoted a Goldman Sachs analysis showing that esports will draw more fans than both Major League Baseball and the National Hockey League in 2018. As the growth of this industry builds on a worldwide stage, it is well within reason to believe that esports viewership will surpass the National Football League and National Basketball Association as well.

Eric Brown, Good Gaming Inc. COO, stated, “Our Operating Agreement with ViaOne Gaming creates an exciting opportunity for our company to help this collaboration grow from regional esports tournaments to eventual international level tournaments. Our years of expertise in the esports tournament industry, along with ViaOne Gaming’s capital commitments, and Koralis Entertainment Inc.’s esports tournament model, experience, and various media and industry contacts, combines a synergy we believe will give us an upper hand in proprietary abilities and tournament play. Add to the equation weekly livestream play and things get very exciting.” He also stated, “The ability to enter into a revenue-sharing opportunity in an industry that’s currently booming and projected to exceed $900 million this year leaves us in a very optimistic position.”

David B. Dorwart, Good Gaming Inc. CEO, stated, “The time and effort put into the collaboration of Good Gaming Inc., ViaOne Gaming and Koralis Entertainment Inc. will pay off in dividends.” Mr. Dorwart added, “We want shareholders to know we take our responsibility of keeping all shareholders abreast of all developments as they arise seriously, and we look forward to continuing to send them our monthly communication updates and anticipated newsworthy events. It is also imperative, however, that we disclose matters of substance, as opposed to nonmaterial fluff. Stay tuned, as we anticipate additional developments for the company.”

Finally, we would like to report on our Minecraft division. We had a very challenging summer, as we have been working hard on some major projects that are now starting to be released to the public. For example, on Sept. 1, 2018, we released a major new Skyblock mode, Skyblock Seasons. The initial results of its first week of release were quite promising as player counts increased by 33%. We expect as the community finds out more about this great new way to play, our player counts will continue to increase. Additionally, we have been focusing a lot on our Olimpo server, and plan to be launching that server in a more complete fashion soon.
