iMedium To Partner With Williams-Sonoma to Create a Dynamic Interactive Promotion


WAYNE, Pa. Aug. 8, 2000 (PRIMEZONE) -- iMedium, the Web's premier enabler of visual e-business interactions, announces a partnership with Williams-Sonoma, Inc. (NYSE:WSM), the premier specialty retailer of high quality products for the home, to develop iMedium Visual Interaction Units or "VIUs" (pronounced "views") that will enhance Williams-Sonoma's extensive online presence.

The campaign will launch in the late summer and will initially be sent to Williams-Sonoma's opt-in e-mail list. The e-mail will enable users to interact with images from the catalog, and will provide product information, recipes, and allow for contextual merchandising. The project involves cooperation between iMedium, Williams-Sonoma and Kana Communications.
