The Nokia 6210 Cyber Silver supports Bluetooth connectivity


Nokia today launched an enhanced edition of the Nokia 6210 which supports Bluetooth connectivity. Designed for mobile professionals who desire wireless convenience and flexibility in data communications, the sleek Nokia 6210 now comes in a new Cyber Silver colour.

The Nokia 6210 Cyber Silver was unveiled in the 1st International BluetoothTM China Summit, a two-day event held in Guangzhou commencing today.

Weighing 107g, the Nokia 6210 Cyber Silver also comes with a new BPS-2 1100 mAh Li-polymer battery with talktime and standby time of 3 - 5h 30 min and 60h - 310h respectively. The product will be available in Asia Pacific markets in the second quarter of 2001.

When used with the recently introduced Nokia Connectivity Pack, the Nokia 6210 will be enhanced as a versatile personal communication device with Bluetooth capabilities. With Bluetooth wireless technology, it makes it possible to use the Nokia 6210 as a GSM modem to connect to a laptop within a range of up to 10 meters depending on usage environment. It facilitates the download of emails, Internet browsing, faxing, complementing the high speed data capabilities of up to 43.2 kbps of the Nokia 6210. The Pack also allows the synchronization of calendar and contact data between compatible PC office applications and the Nokia 6210.

The Nokia 6210 is a WAP-enabled phone which supports high speed data of up to 43.2 kbps. With advanced features such as voice dialing, profile settings, calendar notes, picture messaging and Chinese input for SMS (Short Messaging Service), it allows users to manage their lifestyle needs, both at work or leisure.
