Mr. Kari Kalliala, M.Sc. (Eng.), MBA, 45, has been appointed Director of the Forest Industry business group, member of Jaakko Pöyry Group Oyj's Executive Committee, and President of the business group's main company, Jaakko Pöyry Oy.
Kari Kalliala has served in operating, project and management positions in the forest industry in Finland and abroad since 1978. Most recently he has been president of Mondo Minerals Oy, a company supplying talc to the paper industry. Mr. Kalliala will join the Jaakko Pöyry Group during summer 2001.
