STOCKHOLM, Sweden, May 29, 2001 (PRIMEZONE) -- Fanglobe.com and Telia Mobile are launching a voice-controlled portal with artist-produced entertainment and e-mail for Swedish customers.
An agreement between Fanglobe.com and Telia Mobile offers Fanglobe.com's voice-controlled portal for entertainment and email to Telia's mobile customers in Sweden. Currently there are more than 130 Scandinavian artists contracted to the portal Fanglobe.com, where they host their official fan clubs and interact with their fans. The agreement allows Telia's mobile customers in Sweden to reach an interactive voice portal with frequently updated, artist-produced content and based-on-demand, various lists and news. The offerings are under continuous product development.

Fanglobe.com and Telia Mobile are among the first in the world to offer this kind of wireless entertainment and services initially to a selection out of the 130 Scandinavian artists, including Petter, Ayo, Army of Lovers, Excellence and The Ark. Other artists on Fanglobe.com includes Aqua, Ace of base, The Cardigans, Jennifer Brown, Jessica Folker, Robyn, Army of Lovers, The Ark amongst others. Fanglobe.com is currently in discussions with a large number of international artists in the U.K. and U.S.; these artists will also be included in the Fanglobe.com concept.
