FALLBROOK, Calif., June 13, 2001 (PRIMEZONE) -- Gourd lovers are counting down the final days to the 5th Annual International Gourd Art Festival, to take place June 23 and 24, 2001. This is the largest gathering of Gourd Artists, and this year's Festival will offer dozens of fine gourd art exhibits from some of the world's most renowned gourd artists. Gourd art ranges in price from $50 to more than $15,000.
Attendance in excess of 25,000 gourd art lovers is expected at what promises to be the biggest year ever for this annual event.
The International Gourd Art Festival is hosted at the expansive Welburn Gourd Farm in Fallbrook. The Farm grows more than 300,000 organic hard-shell gourds every year that are sold worldwide to artists and crafters.
