Appeal Virtual Machines Licenses Sun Microsystem's Java 2 Platform, Standard Edition-J2SE

Appeal to Deliver Enhanced Java Virtual Machine with Management Console for Java Performance Enhancement and Java Systems Optimization


SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 14, 2001 (PRIMEZONE) -- Appeal Virtual Machines (SSE:APP), a technology leader in producing manageable, high performance Virtual Machines for the Java platform, today announced that it has signed a Sun Community Source license agreement for J2SE with Sun Microsystems. As a Java technology licensee, Appeal's JRockit product will give companies the choice to select a Java Virtual Machine with a management console suitable for integration, optimization and independent management for their unique operating environments.
