COPENHAGEN, Denmark, Dec. 10, 2001 (PRIMEZONE) -- Today, TDC's Board of Directors has decided on a new top management structure in TDC (NYSE:TLD).

The Executive Committee will have overall corporate responsibility and will focus on the TDC Group's strategic and financial issues.

Business line management will focus on operational performance of their respective business lines.

Accordingly, the Executive Committee members will be Henning Dyremose, President and Chief Executive Officer, Hans Munk Nielsen, Chief Financial Officer, and James Wilson, Senior Executive Vice President, Business Development.

"Since TDC's restructuring in October 2000, our performance has improved significantly. To further expand on this development, we have decided to create an even more focused and performance-driven management structure," said Henning Dyremose, President and CEO.

The new management structure will ensure a clear allocation of responsibility, strengthen coherence and drive performance. The members of the Executive Committee are Board members in the individual business lines.

As a consequence, Peder O. Andreasen and Henning Vest will concentrate entirely on their individual business lines as Presidents of TDC Tele Danmark and TDC Mobile International, respectively.

The new management structure takes effect from January 1, 2002.
