Teleca is Expanding its Operation in Order to Become the Partner of Choice for the Telecommunication Industry Making 3G Services a Reality


STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Jan. 10, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Building upon the company's established position as both Symbian Competence Centre and OMAP(tm) Technology Centre, Teleca launches a program to promote Open Platform Solutions in the public wireless sector and to provide customers with integration services and IPR around platform technologies.

This initiative will be led by Jamal Berber, working from Teleca's London office. Jamal has over 10 years' experience in the mobile phone industry, a strong telecommunications background and an impressive entrepreneurial track record. He was for three years responsible for European Business Development at Symbian, and is highly respected in the industry.

The program will further enhance Teleca's ability to assist both established and new-entrant industry players to achieve rapid deployment of new devices and end-to-end services.
