Philadelphia Premier Singles Charity Benefit on March 22

PHILADELPHIA, March 12, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Like bees in a honeycomb or kids in a candy store, you can imagine the excitement and heightened sense of expectancy in the air when close to 1000, attractive, eligible, and professional singles gather under one roof to celebrate the survival of life.

On Friday, March 22, 2002 nearly 1000 singles, 35 and older from the Philadelphia and surrounding areas, will gather at the Warwick Hotel at 17th & Locust Streets in center city Philadelphia from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. to celebrate "Living It Up!" singles charity benefit for Living Beyond Breast Cancer, www.lbbc.org.

This is the 2nd year Living Beyond Breast Cancer (LBBC) has been the benefactor of this upbeat event and was founded in 1992 by Marisa Weiss, MD, a radiation oncologist, to address the physical, social, emotional, legal and financial issues women face after they have completed their primary treatment for breast cancer. LBBC is the only organization that exclusively serves the unmet needs of women affected by breast cancer and their families. "Living It Up!" and the LBBC welcome corporate or personal donations.

In addition to the good food, good company, and electric atmosphere, guests can expect first class entertainment. The headline entertainment is The Exceptions, www.exceptions.com a well-known premier dance band that has performed at Trump Marina, Rock Lobster, and the 2000 Republican Convention.

Joel Weintraub, a comedian who provides laughter for the soul will discuss the trials and tribulations of "Romancing Alone." http://websophisticates.com/joel/for-health-comedian.htm.

William Poulter, Jr. will be on the premises to help keep everyone moving with West Coast Swing dance, dncnfool58@aol.com.

Donna Dvorak, the Bucks County author of Sensational Singles, will be signing copies of her book and gathering stories for her next book, www.theprowriter.com. Returning this year will be Caricatures by Babs and Mary Jo the psychic from Insight.
