Streamserve Launches Suite of Intelligent Accelerators for SAP Solutions

CEBIT 2002 - SAP Partner Booth, Hall 4, D12

STOCKHOLM, Sweden, March 14, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- StreamServe, a pioneer in the emerging market of Enterprise Business Communications, today announced the launch of a suite of Intelligent Accelerators for SAP(r) solutions. The three Intelligent Accelerators optimise data from SAP solutions to deliver enhanced business communications, and can be implemented in progressive stages to align with a SAP users current IT infrastructure, fully supporting the development of an e-business strategy. As part of StreamServe's Business Communication Platform, the Intelligent Accelerators (IA) enable enterprises using SAP solutions to collaborate more effectively with customers, partners and suppliers through a single communications layer.

IA - Output + IA - Output + enables SAP users to optimise the distribution output management capabilities of their systems. The solution adds greater flexibility to the way data can be used, without the need to change underlying systems. IA - Output + provides the capability to enhance and distribute forms documents, and supplement these documents with additional data from non-SAP solutions. IA - Output + also produces identical and consistent output on all formats supported by StreamServe, extending the user's overall business communication capabilities.

IA - E-docs IA - E-docs has been developed to support SAP users in the early stages of implementing an e-business strategy, enabling them to turn output into electronic communication without the need to fully upgrade their systems to support transactions. IA - E-docs allows users to format and automate output from their SAP systems, and then translates this data into XML, HTML, EDI or any other electronic format, enabling them to communicate with the non-SAP solutions of customers, suppliers and partners.

IA - Business Processes IA - Businesses Processes enables SAP users to expand upon their existing e-business capabilities by delivering enhanced connectivity through bi-directional communication. Users can automatically retrieve, update, and change information within their systems using standard integration tools for SAP solutions. The strong integration capability of the accelerator also supports communication with the non-SAP systems and applications of customers, partners and suppliers.

Nick Earle, CEO at StreamServe commented; "At StreamServe, we recognise that SAP users are keen to maximise the investment in their existing systems. Our 3 Intelligent Accelerators enable users to optimise output from these systems to deliver enhanced connectivity with their customers, partners and suppliers. Furthermore, by progressively implementing each accelerator, StreamServe fully supports the step- change in their e-business strategy. Through the launch of this solution, we are re-inforcing our partnership with SAP, and our commitment to become the leading enterprise business communication software company worldwide."
