STOCKHOLM, Sweden, March 19, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Telia AB has signed a memorandum of understanding with Bharti covering the sale of its 26-percent stake in Bharti Mobile in India.
The shares are being sold for about SEK 600 million.
The sale is part of Telia's efforts to streamline operations and prioritise markets in the Nordic countries and the Baltic states.
