STOCKHOLM, Sweden, March 27, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- For the fifth time, ReadSoft has received "Best of AIIM" from the American magazine, Transform.
The award recognizes the most innovative products at the annual, world-leading document management exhibition AIIM. This time, ReadSoft's INVOICES technology is praised for its forward-thinking, SAP integration, and e-mail and Web functionality.
Transform, concludes that there are now several free-form data capture systems that capture fields from forms of various designs, but ReadSoft has been at it longer than anyone. The jury recognizes that ReadSoft has improved on last year's "Best of AIIM" with three significant Option Packs: "The Integration Option Pack provides an SAP-certified interface to the mySAP.com e-business platform. The Web Invoices Option Pack lets companies create Web-fillable invoices that suppliers can adopt as an alternative to paper. Similarly, the e-mail Option Pack lets suppliers submit invoices as email attachments in .PDF, .XML or other formats. INVOICES can then read the invoice data more reliably without OCR errors and costly manual data entry."
Transforms also highlights the fact that ReadSoft is not just addressing the paper problem, but also helps companies move their transactions to more efficient electronic approaches.
