Observer Strengthens Management in the Nordic and Baltic Area; Claus Bretton-Meyer New Managing Director of Observer Danmark A/S

STOCKHOLM, Sweden, March 27, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- The Observer group has named Claus Bretton-Meyer the new managing director of Observer Danmark A/S, succeeding Jens Nielsen, who becomes regional manager for Northern Europe.

Nielsen, who has been managing director of Observer Danmark since 1999, is now assuming greater responsibility for operations in the Media Intelligence division in the Nordic and Baltic countries. Claus Bretton-Meyer was most recently an executive with the Danish IT company Azlan Scandinavia A/S and was previously marketing manager for Graphium dz Danmark.

"The needs of both local and international clients are growing constantly," said Observer CEO, Robert Lundberg. "By further strengthening coordination of our local and regional client offerings, we will be even better at meeting their needs. With more clearly defined regional responsibility, I also expect that we will be able to more efficiently use our marketing and development resources in the Nordic region."

With operations in Business and Communication Intelligence, Observer has grown substantially in recent years and now has its own subsidiaries in 13 countries in Europe and North America.

Earlier in March, Observer also announced that Mariann Klint had been hired as the new managing director of Observer Sverige AB. Mariann Klint has experience with media companies and in the financial sector.
