STOCKHOLM, Sweden, April 9, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Telia Mobile has signed an agreement for national roaming in Finland with Suomen 2G Oy. This will allow Telia Mobile Finland's customers to use their mobile services via Suomen 2G Oy's national GSM network.
"This is an important step towards further establishing profitable mobile operations in Finland," said Erik Hallberg, Acting Head of Telia Mobile Finland.
Telia Mobile's GSM 1800-network covers 54% of Finland's population. The national roaming via Suomen 2G Oy's GSM network will be used by Telia's customers in Finland during the spring.
