Telia: Surf While on the Move -- Wireless and Free of Charge

STOCKHOLM, Sweden, April 11, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- This week, Telia Mobile, in cooperation with Hewlett Packard, is launching its "Fly & Try" project at Bromma Airport, Stockholm, Sweden. All travelers at Bromma Airport will be given the opportunity to lend a PDA or laptop, a W-LAN card and a 24-hour subscription to HomeRun - all free of charge.

"Fly & Try" is a test project for everyone flying in to or out of Bromma. Equipment will be lent out in the same way as cars: travelers will have to leave their credit card numbers as security. These services can also be installed on travelers' own computers if they do not want to lend equipment.

"The aim of 'Fly & Try' is to demonstrate, primarily to business travelers, how a mobile solution can facilitate and streamline their working day. With Telia HomeRun, your waiting time at the airport will be turned into efficient working time, because it allows you to link up to your office and gain access to data regardless of where you are," said Mats Salomonsson, Acting Head of Telia Mobile Sweden.

Everyone taking part in "Fly & Try" has the chance of winning a portable HP Jornada 928 (a PDA with a built-in GPRS element), plus a W-LAN card and Telia HomeRun subscription. This project will be running until 31 May and will then be assessed. Anyone wanting to try out Telia HomeRun is welcome to visit the Telia stand in the departure hall at Bromma Airport.
