Nocom Signs General Agreement with Bredbandsbolaget; Several New Contracts but Continued Caution on the Market

UPPSALA, Sweden, April 15, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Nocom AB (publ) has signed a general agreement with Bredbandsbolaget - B2 Bredband AB (publ) - for advanced consulting services within integration solutions. In the first phase, Nocom will develop and test solutions based on technology from American TIBCO, which Bredbandsbolaget has chosen as its standard platform for all integration. The agreement encompasses ongoing provisioning of consulting services within BPM (Business Process Management), system integration and project management. Nocom's initial efforts will be in integrating Bredbandbolaget's debiting and production systems, and managing process flows for these systems prior to the launch of network services.

"We have worked with TIBCO since the autumn and together we can offer world-leading technology in combination with advanced consulting and support services," said Stefan Skarin, CEO, Nocom. "Over the years, we have built up considerable expertise in integration, an area that we regard as having major potential for many years to come - despite the continued weak state of the IT market."

Generally weak market development, primarily pertaining to consulting services, has led to delayed and lost revenue. Despite this, Nocom reported profit/loss improvement during the first quarter of 2002 (in comparison to the corresponding period last year), however, without achieving profitability.

Nocom continues to be financially strong and does not require additional financing. More information will be released in Nocom's interim report on April 29, 2002, when the company's long-term financial goals will also be presented.
