Skanska Leases Premises in Sundbypark to World-Leading Company

STOCKHOLM, Sweden, April 18, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Skanska and ITT Flygt, one of the world's leading pump manufacturers, have signed a leasing agreement for the second stage of Skanska's newly developed Sundbypark corporate office complex in Sundbyberg, north of Stockholm, Sweden.

The 15-year lease covers occupancy of 15,000 square meters by ITT Flygt. Skanska's investment amounts to about SEK 300 M.

"We are looking forward to adding another international tenant in Sundbypark," said Anders Kupsu, President of Skanska Fastigheter Stockholm AB. "It is particularly pleasing to work with a company with such high confidence in the future in today's weakening market."

Currently, ITT Flygt has its head office in Solna, but in spring 2004 will move into the new premises in Sundbypark.

"The new, modern premises, which are adapted to our operations and which reflect our profile as a world-leading company, is a major asset with regard to satisfying our employees and customers and for attracting new personnel in the future," said Anders Hallberg, President of ITT Flygt AB.

Sundbypark is a new area for high-technology companies that was developed in close cooperation with the City of Sundbyberg. A total of 65,000 square meters of office space is being built. Construction will be carried out in stages during the next few years. The first stage totaling 15,000 square meters is leased to Ericsson and will be occupied in the summer. Sundbypark is one of Sweden's most expansive corporate areas, centered in the Sundbyberg-Solna-Kista growth triangle, in proximity to the Bromma and Arlanda airports.

Skanska is a leader in project development and the Skanska Project Development Sweden unit today has 179,000 square meters in ongoing projects in Sweden and Denmark. Currently, about 90 percent of the project portfolio is leased. More info on www.sundbypark.nu.
