Ratos: Martinsson Completes Offer for IMS


STOCKHOLM, Sweden, April 29, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Ratos's associated company Martinsson made a public offer for all the shares in IMS Data on 18 February this year. Martinsson offered SEK 4.05 per share in IMS Data. The extended application period for the offer expired on 26 April 2002. Since the offer has been accepted by approximately 91.35 % of IMS's shareholders, all the terms for the offer have now been met.

Compulsory redemption

The remaining shares will be acquired through compulsory redemption and Martinsson will request the Board of IMS to apply for delisting from Stockholmsborsen's O-list as soon as possible.
