MALMO, Sweden and IRVINE, Calif., May 29, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Telelogic,(Stockholm Exchange:TLOG), the leading global provider of solutions foradvanced systems and software development, today announced theavailability of an internationalized version of Telelogic DOORS, themarket leader for requirements management by the Standish Group in itslatest industry report entitled, "What are your requirements? 2000."

"DOORS has been a tremendous success for organizations that need to deploy a structured requirements management process," said Ingemar Ljungdahl, chief technology officer at Telelogic. "The internationalized version of DOORS demonstrates our commitment to the Asian market, where the internationalized version of our Telelogic Tau product line has already achieved significant success."

"DOORS provides the ability to express requirements in pictures and words, and due to the text-intense nature of requirements the tool has so far not been able to meet the needs of Asian users," said Paul Raymond, director of product management for DOORS at Telelogic. "The new internationalized version of DOORS provides Asian users with the ability to input, store, edit, search, sort and filter requirements expressed in the Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Taiwanese languages. Integrations with Asian versions of Microsoft Word will also work, as will the export to HTML."

Compatibility

The internationalized version of DOORS (named version 5.2a) is based on the DOORS 5.x generation. It does not support all the features of the upcoming DOORS 6.0. For more details, please contact a local Telelogic representative or visit www.telelogic.com.
