Northrop Grumman Names Kenneth Wilson Vice President, C4ISR&T Networked Systems


BALTIMORE, June 10, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- (WITH PHOTO) Northrop Grumman Corporation's (NYSE:NOC) Electronic Systems sector has announced the appointment of Kenneth E. Wilson as vice president, Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance and Targeting (C4ISR&T) Networked Systems, effective immediately.

In this position, Wilson has executive responsibility for all program execution activities and business growth strategies related to the C4ISR&T Networked Systems business area with prime contracts for all four services. Most recently, he was director of this business area.

Wilson joined the company in 1990 following a distinguished 23-year career in the U.S. Army, including more than eight years commanding infantry, armor and aviation operational units from platoons in Vietnam to battalions in Germany. He also served in numerous executive staff positions including two tours of duty at the Pentagon in the Army Staff, Force Development Directorate and in the Joint Staff, Requirements Directorate.

Since joining Northrop Grumman, Wilson has held positions of increasing responsibility in program management, Army business development, C4 digitization programs and tactical ground systems.

Wilson received a bachelor's degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a master's degree from the Florida Institute of Technology. He is also a graduate of the National War College.
