Vasakronan AB Signs a EUR 1 Billion MTN Program


STOCKHOLM, Sweden, June 14, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Vasakronan AB has today signed a new Euro 1 billion MTN. The program is being arranged by Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein. The other dealers are BNP Parisbas and Goldman Sachs.

Vasakronan has been financed in the Swedish capital market since 1996 and is today the largest issuer of corporate bonds in the Swedish market. The Swedish 15 billion SEK MTN program, of which SEK 13 billion remains outstanding, remains an important source of financing. The EMTN program will broaden the investor base and create genuine opportunities for international borrowing for Vasakronan.

The new EMTN program has a BBB+ negative outlook credit rating from Standard & Poor's. The program will be listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange.
