David W. Neibert Named Chief Operating Officer and President of Concierge Technologies Inc.

LOS ANGELES, June 17, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Concierge Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB:CNCG) Friday announced that David W. Neibert has been named president and chief operating officer of the company, effective immediately. Neibert succeeds the company's founder and chairman, Allen E. Kahn.

Neibert is a partner and President of The Wallen Group, a Los Angeles-based firm providing consulting services to high-technology companies within the fields of wireless telecommunications, the FCC competitive bidding process, land mobile radio, wireless internet appliance and web-based graphic information services. Leveraging a background in marine electronics and the newly emerging cellular business of the 1980s, Neibert co-founded and served as president of Roamer One from 1992 until its acquisition by Securicor plc in 1995. Under Mr. Neibert's leadership, Roamer One became the nation's largest 220MHz land mobile radio service.

In addition to serving on the board of Concierge Technologies since March, Neibert has also served on the boards of directors of various publicly held companies listed on the OTC, Nasdaq national and small- cap markets, privately held corporations, and non-profit organizations such as the American Mobile Telecommunications Association which serves as a liaison and lobbyist for wireless network operators and the Federal Communications Commission in Washington D.C. Prior to founding The Wallen Group in 1998, Neibert was employed as executive vice president of business development with Intek Global Corporation, the U.S. subsidiary of Securicor plc, (London:SCR), a U.K. publicly held firm based in Sutton Surrey, England.

Kahn, Concierge Technologies' chairman stated, "I am delighted that Dave has accepted the board's offer to serve as chief operating officer. He has a proven track record of building shareholder value not only through sound management techniques, but also by way of strategic acquisitions and business alliances. His professionalism and experience in the world of wireless communications and network operations will greatly benefit the company as we begin executing our business development strategy in the coming months."

Neibert commented, "This period of convergence in communications technology is going to be a most exciting time for consumers and service providers alike. After several years of agonizing delays, Concierge Technologies is now poised to move aggressively into the extensive market space of personal communications. I envision the PCA(r) product to be just one of many product offerings and platforms upon which Concierge will establish a significant market share. I'm excited and optimistic about the opportunities that are before us and I wish to thank the shareholders for their patience and support as we begin to build a sound infrastructure with a path to profitability."

Concierge Technologies, Inc. is involved in the development, distribution and sale of unified messaging service ("UMS") software products in North America. Founded in 1996 by Allen E. Kahn as a private company, Concierge merged with publicly traded Starfest (OTCBB:SFST) during March 2002. The Company is now seeking to expand its product line to address the broader personal communications market, fund its development activities, and recruit personnel to executive management positions. Concierge Technologies' current product offering is the Personal Communications Attendant (PCA), a software-only product that collects and organizes Internet e-mail and "reads" it to the user over any telephone connection.
