SETP Announces that Edgetech Services Inc. Has Entered into a National Reseller Agreement with Counterpane Internet Security Inc.

Edgetech Has Received Federal Security Clearance

KELOWNA, B.C. June 24, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Secure Enterprise Solutions Inc. (OTCBB:SETP) (the "Company" or "SETP") is pleased to announce that Edgetech Services Inc. (Edgetech) has entered a reseller agreement with Counterpane Internet Security Inc. (Counterpane) granting a licence to sell Counterpane products and services nationally across Canada.

"We are adding notable breadth to our CCR program by working with resellers who have very specific industry knowledge, experience, and critical client relationships," says John Bruce, Executive Vice President for Counterpane Internet Security, Inc. "While our ability to serve customers continues to grow in terms of sheer numbers of authorized resellers, we have also developed a brilliant team of experts in the security services field to serve our customers. This represents a considerable leadership position for Counterpane."

Counterpane is the world's leader in Managed Security Monitoring (MSM). Expert Security Analysts monitor client networks for suspicious activities, and take immediate, effective action to defend against both outside hackers and internal attacks and keep client operations running smoothly. Counterpane has received over $58 million in financing through leading venture capital and corporate investors.

SETP expects that it will be able to increase revenues as a result of its new ability to resell Counterpane products and services, which are best-of-breed.

SETP has previously announced the acquisition of Edgetech towards which both companies are completing legal and accounting requirements. This transaction is now expected to close ahead of schedule in July. SETP will subsequently maintain its main Canadian office in Toronto, with branch offices in Winnipeg and Kelowna. Additional offices are likely to be opened in the future.

SETP also announces that Edgetech has received Enhanced Security Clearance from the Federal Government of Canada. Enhanced Security Clearance will allow Edgetech greater access to pursue federal government contracts across Canada.

Both SETP and Edgetech continue discussions with other parties related to additional partnering, acquisition, and revenue generating opportunities. There can be no assurance of the successful completion of these discussions, but as always, additional news will be released as available.
