The Vaisala Group has signed a contract with the Turkish State Meteorological Service to supply meteorological observation equipment. Valued at EUR 2.1 million, the contract covers upper-air sounding systems and equipment, and a data management system. Deliveries under the contract will take place this year.
Vaisala will supply the Turkish State Meteorological Service seven DigiCORA III Sounding Systems as well as equipment and services to sounding stations around the country. The contract also includes a centralized system for management and storage of meteorological data.
