eSynch's DRM Solution Targets Industry Trends

SANTA ANA, Calif., June 28, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- eSynch Corp. (OTCBB:ESYN), a leader in the development and distribution of digital rights management solutions for the streaming media market, is experiencing an increase in requests for proposals for MediaOffice(tm), its DRM solution. Recognizing that the RFPs are just the beginning, eSynch views them as strong indicators that the industry's trend to get content online, protected and available for delivery is the focus of many media companies. As the number of users of high speed access to the Internet approaches 25 million, companies are clamoring to protect their rich media content and make it available online.

The online delivery of digital content is ever-expanding: CNN has opted to offer its protected video content through membership only access, this year's Sundance Film Festival offered digital movies, while independent film site ZoieFilms (www.zoiefilms.com, often featured on Microsoft's WindowsMedia site) offers content protected by eSynch's MediaOffice(tm). Ford Motor Company is launching its first time ever music video promotion this week. Lycos Entertainment announced the launch of enhanced streaming movie content targeting broadband users, and AOL Time Warner is developing technology that could dramatically cut the costs of audio and video broadcasts.

eSynch's president, David Lyons said, "eSynch is as well positioned as any in the emerging DRM market. Our MediaOffice solution takes advantage of the proven technology of Microsoft, and weds it to our own technology for license delivery and media control utilizing our Media Console, which allows our partners the ultimate in control and flexibility over both monetary and non-monetary transactions."
